Richard has been taking care of our pool for about a year now. He has done an excellent job and I highly recommend him and his company. When we bought our house, our pool was a green neglected swamp, full of mosquito larvae and huge palm fronds. The pool filter was not also not working.

Richard was one of a few people we got quotes from and was by far the most affordable. A few other people just refused to touch the pool, or immediately said that we needed to drain it and start over, quoting us several thousand dollars. Richard actually seemed to relish the challenge of tackling our pool. He tested the water, determined that he could save it, quoted us a price and followed through with cleaning it up.

We were really amazed by how hard he worked, coming three or four days a week to adjust chemicals and replace parts on the filter. He saved us cash by figuring out which parts could be kept rather than selling us a whole new unit. For example, he figured out that we only needed “half a new motor.” I’m still not sure what that means but it works and saved us a couple hundred bucks.

He has recently expanded his company, taking on a few assistants and broadening his area. Though he isn’t doing our pool personally anymore, the quality of service has not decreased at all and he is still readily available if we need him. We are keeping his company for our pool services for the long term.
