My pool filter was 25 years old and barely worked. So I decided to install a new one. Finding someone to install it was another story. Some guy gave me a quote based on 400,000 BTU without even asking the size of the pool or the size of the gas line going to the heater.

Another guy quoted a different price also without seeing the pool, etc. Both of these were listed on Yelp with many 5 star reviews!

So I did a Google search for pool heater replacement and Aqua Masters came up. First I noticed their Contractor’s License Number, then their LA Health Permit.
After I checked out the permit and found it was in good standing and they had worker’s comp, then I called them.

I spoke to Richard. He answered all of my questions and when I asked about getting a quote he asked if I could send him texts with photos of my heater which I did. Then he asked me to see if the old one has its BTU anyplace. It did on the inside panel.

Based on the photos and Richard being able to see my gas line to the old heater, he sent me a quote for a new Jandy heater.

He was ready to install it the next day. Richard cane by with the new Jandy heater and his installer removed the old one and installed the new one in about 2 1/2 hours and did a great job cleaning up everything. This installer is amazing with over 29 years experience.
